Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activities across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings with qualified prospects to fuel the sales pipeline.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, experience with outbound tools, and strong written communication to craft personalized outreach. Remote work is available within South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or agency/SaaS considered.
• B2B sales experience preferred and quota carrying.
• Ability to personalize outreach at scale.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and cadences.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
