Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Online Digital Literacy Instructor to empower South Africans from a remote home base in Centurion. You will design and deliver online courses, workshops, and one-on-one sessions covering basic to advanced digital skills.

You will leverage LMS platforms and web conferencing tools to engage diverse learners, assess progress, and provide personalized coaching, all while promoting digital inclusion and safe online practices across the nation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of teaching or training in digital literacy.
• Strong grasp of OS, internet, email, word processing, spreadsheets, online safety.
• Experience with LMS and online collaboration tools (Zoom/Meet/Teams).
• Excellent online presentation and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update digital literacy curriculum for online platforms.
• Deliver engaging online training sessions, webinars, and workshops.
• Provide individualized coaching to participants.
• Assess learner progress and give feedback.
• Use online tools to create dynamic learning experiences.
• Stay current with digital trends and best practices.
• Contribute to online assessment tools and evaluation methods.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during sessions.
