Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a CI/CD focus to join a distributed, remote-first team. Lead design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong scripting and IaC experience are essential for reliable, scalable releases.

You will collaborate with development and operations to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and improve the software delivery lifecycle in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiar with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for diverse applications and services.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting deployment pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor pipeline performance and identify bottlenecks for speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and rapid deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infra issues.
