Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead our CI/CD, cloud automation, and infrastructure strategy in a fully remote capacity. You will build scalable pipelines, lead a team of engineers, and drive reliability across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

You will design IaC, manage containers, and implement comprehensive monitoring and security practices. Strong leadership and renowned problem-solving skills are essential for advancing a fast-growing SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles with leadership exp.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible.
• Manage container orchestration on Kubernetes or similar.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with development to optimize applications and resolve deployment challenges.
• Implement logging/monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices and security standards.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster collaboration.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools to improve the DevOps ecosystem.
