Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote DevOps Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will design and maintain automated deployment pipelines, implement IaC, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, focusing on reliability and scalability.

You will collaborate with development and security teams to reinforce CI/CD, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and scripting in Python/Bash/Go, all while enjoying a fully remote role with flexible hours and ongoing professional

Qualifications

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Expertise in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go; Kubernetes and Docker proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring with IaC tools.
Develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
Ensure reliability, performance, and security of production systems.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Implement and manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
