Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a DeFi Protocol Developer for a remote-first engineering team. You will design, implement, and optimize secure smart contracts for DeFi applications like lending, borrowing, and exchanges using Solidity or Rust.

You will continuously test, audit, and verify contracts, collaborate with product teams, and stay current with DeFi security practices. A strong background in web3 tooling is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing and deploying DeFi smart contracts.
• Strong knowledge of Solidity, Rust, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy secure smart contracts for DeFi apps (lending, borrowing, exchanges).
• Develop decentralized protocols with Solidity or Rust and ensure gas efficiency.
• Conduct testing, audits, and formal verification for security and reliability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate DeFi ideas into code and specs.
• Stay updated on DeFi trends and participate in protocol research.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
