Placements24 is seeking a remote Blockchain Engineer specialized in Solidity to design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts on the Ethereum network. You will collaborate with a global team to build scalable DeFi solutions and contribute to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer focused on Solidity development.
• Deployments on Ethereum mainnet or testnets.
• Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Experience with development tools like Hardhat, Truffle, Remix, Web3.js/Ethers.js.
• Knowledge of cryptography and security in decentralized systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity on the Ethereum blockchain.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain protocols.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
• Optimize smart contracts for performance, gas efficiency, and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate smart contracts into user-facing applications.
• Research and implement new blockchain technologies and patterns to enhance product offerings.
• Troubleshoot and debug smart contract issues and network-related problems.
• Actively participate in technical discussions and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
• Maintain documentation for smart contracts and blockchain architecture.
