Placements24 is seeking a Senior DeFi Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced DeFi protocols in a fully remote setup. You will work on lending, lending, exchanges, and yield farming, using Solidity and modern toolchains. The role requires deep DeFi knowledge and a track record of secure smart contracts.

The position emphasizes ownership, asynchronous collaboration, and ongoing security learning, with competitive compensation and token-based incentives possible.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of software engineering with 3+ years in blockchain/DeFi.
• Proven experience deploying DeFi protocols or apps.
• Expertise in Solidity and smart contract development.
• Knowledge of DeFi primitives, tokenomics, and financial math.
• Familiarity with Ethereum-compatible networks and ecosystems.
• Experience with Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, and libraries like Ethers.js/Web3.js.
• Strong security mindset and threat awareness.
• Excellent analytical and collaborative skills for remote work.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy complex DeFi protocols and smart contracts, focusing on lending, borrowing, exchanges, and yield farming.
• Architect robust and scalable solutions for decentralized financial products.
• Write secure, efficient, and well-documented smart contracts, primarily using Solidity.
• Conduct rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial applications.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for new DeFi product development.
• Optimize smart contract performance and manage gas costs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
