Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated DeFi Protocol Engineer to join a remote-first team. You will design, develop, and deploy DeFi protocols, focusing on core on-chain logic and secure smart contracts using Solidity.

Responsibilities include building scalable on-chain mechanisms, collaborating with frontend/backend teams, and conducting security audits to mitigate risks. A strong background in DeFi, blockchain basics, and testing is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in Solidity/DeFi.
• Strong Solidity skills and DeFi primitives experience.
• Understanding of blockchain economics, security principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DeFi protocols including lending, borrowing, and exchange platforms.
• Write, test, and deploy secure smart contracts using Solidity.
• Develop on-chain mechanisms for efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate protocols.
• Conduct security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
