Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Blockchain Developer to join a fintech team focused on Decentralized Finance. You will design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts and dApps across Ethereum and other platforms, and integrate blockchain tech with financial systems.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in Solidity and Rust, a strong DeFi background, and a track record of secure, scalable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer, with deployed smart contracts and dApps.
• Expertise in Solidity and experience with other languages (Rust, Vyper).
• Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Python) and frameworks (Web3.js, Hardhat, Truffle).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and other platforms (e.g., Binance Smart Chain).
• Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and backend services.
• Integrate blockchain with existing financial systems and third-party services.
• Research and implement new blockchain technologies and protocols.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers in a remote, agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and debug blockchain apps and contracts.
• Contribute to architecture and technical roadmap of DeFi products.
• Stay updated with blockchain and DeFi trends.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
