Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Blockchain Engineer specializing in DeFi to design, develop, and audit DeFi smart contracts within a globally distributed team. The role requires deep knowledge of financial markets, blockchain security, and autonomous work in a remote-first environment.

You will craft secure contracts for lending, exchanges, and yield strategies, while researching new DeFi primitives and optimizing gas efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Blockchain Engineer with a DeFi focus.
• Expertise in Solidity and Ethereum smart contract development.
• Deep understanding of DeFi concepts including AMMs, lending protocols, stablecoins, and yield optimization.
• Experience with security best practices, smart contract auditing, and formal verification methods.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go for scripting and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, audit, and deploy secure DeFi smart contracts for diverse protocols.
• Research and implement new DeFi primitives and on-chain instruments.
• Optimize gas usage and performance for scalability and cost-efficiency.
