Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Contract Manager for a remote, contract-based role to oversee all contractual aspects of major projects, ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize commercial outcomes.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, administer variations and claims, manage extensions of time, coordinate with legal, clients, and contractors, and report findings to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contractual aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
• Administer contracts, including managing variations, claims, extensions of time, and disputes.
• Oversee the tendering process, including the evaluation of bids and selection of contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and relevant legislation.
• Monitor project performance against contractual obligations and advise on potential risks.
• Liaise with legal counsel, project teams, clients, and contractors on contractual matters.
• Prepare and present contractual reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Manage the resolution of contractual disputes and claims effectively.
