Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Construction Contracts Administrator to manage all contract-related aspects of construction projects from a remote setting. You will prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, oversee lifecycle processes, and liaise with project managers and legal counsel across multiple locations including Bloemfontein.

The role requires strong knowledge of contract law, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with contract management and document systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in construction.
• Strong understanding of contract law and standard forms.
• Proficiency in contract management software and document management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and amendments.
• Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Manage the RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes efficiently.
• Track contract milestones, deliverables, and payment schedules.
• Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
• Liaise with project managers, legal counsel, and external parties on contract matters.
• Assist in dispute resolution and claims management related to contractual obligations.
