Placements24 is seeking a Remote Computational Biologist to join its pioneering bioinformatics team. You will develop and apply pipelines to analyze genomic and transcriptomic data, identify biological insights, and contribute to drug discovery initiatives.

The role requires a PhD and 4–6 years experience in computational biology, strong Python/R skills, and experience with NGS data. You will collaborate with bench scientists and clinicians in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational biology or related field.
• 4–6 years of genomics-focused experience.
• Proficient in Python or R and bioinformatics libraries.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team.

Responsabilités

• Analyze large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets using advanced computational methods.
• Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines and algorithms for data processing.
• Collaborate with biologists and clinicians to interpret findings and design experiments.
