Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Outreach Coordinator to lead remote engagement across the Eastern Cape and beyond. The role focuses on developing strategies, building partnerships with community groups and stakeholders, and coordinating remote events and content campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building skills, and experience in outreach or program coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community outreach, program coordination, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and project management software.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and campaigns to increase awareness and engagement.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with community leaders, local organizations, potential partners, and volunteers.
• Coordinate and manage remote outreach events, webinars, and digital communication initiatives.
• Create compelling content for outreach materials, social media, email newsletters, and website updates.
• Track and report on outreach activities, gather feedback, and analyze results to refine strategies for maximum impact.
• Represent the organization professionally in virtual settings and build strong, lasting connections with community members.
