Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Remote Program Coordinator to oversee social service programs from a home office. You will plan, implement, and monitor initiatives that support community well-being across South Africa, coordinating virtual teams and partners.

The role requires a master’s degree in a related field, at least five years in program management, and proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of five years in program management within the non-profit or social services sector.
• Experience in remote team management and virtual collaboration.
• Strong understanding of program evaluation methodologies and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of social service programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Coordinate program activities using virtual platforms for outreach and service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, partner organizations, and funding bodies.
• Monitor program performance, collect data, and prepare reports on outcomes and impact.
• Lead virtual team meetings and provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers.
