Job summary

Placements24, a non-profit focused on social impact, seeks a proactive Community Outreach Manager to lead engagement efforts. This fully remote role connects with communities across South Africa from your home office, building relationships with stakeholders and driving awareness of the organization's mission.

You will develop outreach programs, organize virtual meetings and workshops, create digital content, and track activity to demonstrate impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in community engagement or PR, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Strong communication, presentation and virtual delivery skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to engage diverse populations.
• Build relationships with local leaders, community groups, and partners.
• Organize and facilitate virtual community meetings, workshops, and information sessions.
• Create and disseminate outreach materials, including digital content and social media updates.
• Track and report on outreach activities and their impact on program goals.
