Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in cybersecurity with cloud security expertise, scripting skills for automation, and strong collaboration for remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity experience with strong cloud security focus.
• Proven experience with security best practices on AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on with cloud security tools, IAM, network security groups, WAFs, and key management services.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes security implications.
• Experience with security monitoring and logging in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and automate security controls, policies, and procedures for cloud deployments.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage IAM in the cloud and monitor access controls.
• Monitor cloud environments for threats and respond to incidents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards in cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with development/ops to embed security into CI/CD (DevSecOps).
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud security technologies.
• Develop and maintain cloud security documentation.
