Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure and GCP in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years in cloud security, strong IAM, encryption, and network security knowledge, and be comfortable working with distributed teams.

You will automate security using Terraform and CloudFormation, participate in incident response, and help ensure regulatory compliance across global cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in cloud security engineering or related role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP security controls and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage security controls across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Enforce security best practices for cloud infra, including IAM, network security, data protection.
• Implement security tools (firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, monitoring).
• Automate security via IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Perform regular security assessments and compliance checks.
• Respond to security incidents and lead incident investigations.
• Collaborate with dev/ops to embed security in CI/CD.
