Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join a fully remote fintech team. You will design, implement, and manage security controls for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensure compliance, and respond to incidents from anywhere in South Africa.

The role emphasizes automation, threat detection, and IAM, with collaboration across DevOps and Engineering to secure CI/CD pipelines.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related cybersecurity role with a strong focus on cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for security deployments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and architectures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and automate security processes, including vulnerability management, configuration management, and incident response in the cloud.
• Implement and manage cloud security tools such as WAF, IDS/IPS, security groups, and encryption services.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, anomalies, and potential breaches, and respond effectively.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and cloud deployment processes.
