Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and maintain security for cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and responding to incidents.

The role requires 3–5 years of cloud security experience, along with expertise in Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker, and Kubernetes. A Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity is required, with remote-friendly work culture and opportunities for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
3–5 years of cloud security engineering or cloud architecture experience.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP security services.
IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of container and serverless security.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Develop and automate security processes for cloud deployments and operations.
Monitor cloud infrastructure for threats and respond to incidents.
Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with development/ops to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct security assessments and cloud penetration testing.
