Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring policy compliance and threat remediation.

You will collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, conduct cloud architecture reviews, and lead incident response with forensic analysis. A strong security background and remote teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience in cloud security architecture, implementation, and management across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and shared responsibility models.
• Experience with cloud security tools like CASB, CWPP, CSPM, and native cloud services.
• Familiarity with containerization tech (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and standards.
• Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and deviations and remediate.
• Review cloud architectures, deployments, and configurations for security.
• Respond to incidents with forensics and recovery coordination.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native apps.
