Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join their client’s team in a fully remote capacity. Design, implement, and maintain security across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets.

You will lead security testing, IAM, encryption, and security automation, collaborating with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD and IaC, with opportunities for growth in a global remote culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Cybersecurity required; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years in information security with cloud focus.
• Expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP security services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices.
• Deploy cloud-native security services: firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, IAM, encryption.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration tests of cloud infra and apps.
• Lead cloud incident response, investigation and remediation.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD and IaC.
