About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking national facilities management group, is establishing a new remote operations hub and is seeking an experienced Cleaning Operations Strategist. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative cleaning strategies and best practices across the company\'s diverse portfolio of properties nationwide. You will leverage data analytics, emerging technologies, and industry trends to optimize cleaning efficiency, enhance service quality, and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, all managed from your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine overarching cleaning operational strategies and policies applicable across various facility types.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in cleaning processes and resource allocation.
• Research and recommend new cleaning technologies, equipment, and sustainable practices to enhance service delivery.
• Create standardized training modules and best practice guidelines for cleaning teams and supervisors nationwide.
• Collaborate closely with regional operations managers and site leadership to implement strategies and ensure consistent execution.
• Develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of cleaning operations and measure ROI.
• Ensure all developed strategies comply with national and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets related to cleaning operations strategy development, including software, training, and consulting resources.
• Identify and evaluate potential third-party cleaning service providers and technologies.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the cleaning services division.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cleaning operations management, facilities management, or a related field, with a strong strategic focus.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful operational strategies that resulted in measurable improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning science, industrial hygiene, sanitation standards, and relevant health & safety legislation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Experience with facilities management software and data analysis tools is essential.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for optimizing operational performance.
