This fully remote role designs, analyzes, and optimizes chemical processes from a distance to boost yield, efficiency, safety, and sustainability, collaborating with on-site teams, R&D, and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering within chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in process design, simulation, and optimization.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and CAD tools.
• Strong safety, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing chemical processes to optimize yield and cost.
• Design and develop new processes, pilot plants, and manufacturing setups.
• Use process simulation software for modeling and analysis.
• Troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions remotely.
• Develop P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specs.
• Support scale-up from lab to commercial production.
• Collaborate with R&D and operations to implement improvements.
• Conduct PHAs and risk assessments.
