Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join a distributed engineering team. You will design, optimize, and support chemical processes from a remote location, leveraging advanced simulators to drive efficiency and safety across multiple sites.

With 5+ years in process engineering and a strong command of Aspen Plus or HYSYS, you will develop P&IDs, PFDs, and operations manuals while collaborating with on-site and remote colleagues worldwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in process engineering, including design and optimization.
Proficiency with Aspen Plus or HYSYS and related process simulation tools.
Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and transport phenomena; remote work capability.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and optimize chemical processes using advanced simulation and modeling software.
Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for existing plant operations.
Develop process documentation, including P&IDs and PFDs.
Conduct remote process safety reviews and risk assessments.
Collaborate with on-site and remote teams via digital platforms.
Research and propose innovative solutions to improve performance and sustainability.
