Placements24 is seeking a proactive, analytical Remote Chemical Process Optimization Engineer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on improving efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of chemical manufacturing through data analysis and advanced optimization, working remotely with global teams from your home office.
You will analyze process data, develop APC strategies, and use Aspen Plus, UniSim, MATLAB, and Python.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with focus on process control and optimization.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in chemical process optimization or APC.
- Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process data from plant operations to identify efficiency, yield and energy improvements.
- Develop and apply advanced process control strategies and optimization techniques.
- Use simulation/modeling software to test optimization scenarios.
- Collaborate with site engineers to implement improvements and monitor results.
- Prepare reports detailing economic benefits and technical recommendations.
- Stay current with new technologies in chemical process optimization.
