Placements24 is recruiting a Catering Sales Executive for a premier catering and events company in the Northern Cape region. The role is remote and focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth from inquiry to event completion.

You will develop sales strategies, present catering packages, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the catering, hospitality, or events industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Deep understanding of catering services, menu options, and event logistics.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve catering revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals.
• Present and sell catering packages, proposals, and customized menus to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals effectively.
• Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Manage a sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and performance.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
