Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Catering Sales & Client Relations Specialist to drive new business and nurture client relationships from a fully remote setup based in Pretoria.

You will guide clients through menu options, event packages, and customized solutions, leveraging your sales expertise and strong communication skills to close deals from inquiry through follow-up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, client relations, or business development, preferably within catering, hospitality, or event management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for virtual environments.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on targets and repeat business.
• Familiarity with CRM software and remote work tools to manage client interactions.
• Deep understanding of food and beverage offerings and event planning principles.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads and manage the sales pipeline for catering services, responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Conduct virtual consultations with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and budget, proposing tailored catering solutions and menus.
• Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event confirmations, ensuring terms are clearly communicated and agreed upon.
• Nurture relationships with existing clients, seek feedback, identify upsell opportunities, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution that meets client expectations.
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM database with all client interactions, sales activities, and booking details.
