Placements24 in South Africa seeks a highly organized Remote Catering Event Coordinator to manage all logistical and client-facing aspects of catering services from a Centurion base while fully remote. You will be the primary contact guiding clients through planning, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring all event requirements are met with precision.

The role requires exceptional communication, problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment to drive client satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or Event Planner in catering or hospitality.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of catering events from client contact to post-event follow-up, fully remote.
• Develop proposals, menus and timelines tailored to client needs and budgets.
• Liaise with culinary teams, vendors and logistics providers for smooth execution.
• Manage budgets, track expenses and process payments accurately.
• Address client inquiries with professional, proactive service.
• Maintain event records and use CRM systems for client/event management.
