Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Blockchain Platform Engineer to help build and maintain scalable distributed ledger infrastructure. You will own core platform engineering, ensuring stability, performance and security, while collaborating with a global remote team.

You will write clean, high-quality code in Go, Rust or C++, design consensus and networking primitives, and optimize performance across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineer with a focus on blockchain platform development.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, consensus, and cryptography.
• Proficient in Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement core features and infrastructure for our proprietary blockchain platform.
• Optimize blockchain network performance, scalability, and reliability using advanced engineering techniques.
• Contribute to the development of consensus algorithms, P2P networking, and cryptographic primitives.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily in languages like Go, Rust, or C++.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members through various communication channels and project management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the blockchain infrastructure.
