Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Blockchain Engineer to join their distributed team. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere, including Welkom, and contribute to scalable blockchain solutions powering crypto projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software engineering experience with a blockchain focus, strong knowledge of Go, Rust or Solidity, and experience with Hyperledger Fabric or Ethereum. Independence and clear remote communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a blockchain focus.
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust or Solidity; experience with Hyperledger Fabric or Ethereum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance blockchain networks and distributed applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for smart contracts and backend services.
• Collaborate with remote team members and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across blockchain platforms and protocols.
• Research and integrate new blockchain technologies to enhance solutions.
