Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Blockchain Network Administrator to manage distributed ledger infrastructure. This fully remote role involves deploying nodes, monitoring health, and troubleshooting in a secure, scalable environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in network administration with blockchain exposure, Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Docker/Kubernetes. Strong scripting skills and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in network administration or systems engineering, with blockchain or distributed systems focus.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and peer-to-peer networking.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and network infrastructure across cloud environments.
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and resource utilization; implement proactive measures.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and support requests promptly.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect the network from threats.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for network components.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
