Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote BIM Coordinator to join their distributed team. This role manages BIM standards, coordinates model development, and ensures data integrity across projects from a remote location.

You will work with Revit, Navisworks and related tools, lead virtual teams, provide guidance, perform QA on models, and advocate for BIM technology adoption to drive efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination or management within architectural or construction contexts.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM authoring/coordination software.
• Strong understanding of BIM concepts, workflows, and data management principles.
• Proven experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment, utilizing collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills for virtual team management.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for remote project teams.
• Coordinate and manage the development of BIM models using Revit and other relevant software, ensuring model accuracy and consistency.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination using BIM tools, resolving clashes and ensuring seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP elements.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to project team members on BIM software and best practices in a remote setting.
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on BIM models and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage BIM content libraries and advocate for the adoption of new BIM technologies and workflows.
