Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote BIM Coordinator to support projects nationwide, including Klerksdorp. You will manage BIM processes, ensure model integrity, and foster collaboration across teams in a fully remote setup.

The role requires strong Revit and Navisworks skills, strict adherence to BIM standards, and proactive communication to deliver high-quality construction information across South Africa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• Experience with BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Solid understanding of the construction lifecycle and BIM's role.
• Ability to work remotely in a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for all projects.
• Coordinate and manage the creation, integration, and clash detection of BIM models from architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams using BIM platforms and tools.
• Conduct regular quality checks of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Generate reports on BIM progress, model quality, and coordination issues.
