Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Billing Support Specialist based in South Africa to deliver a seamless billing experience for customers across international markets. You will handle inquiries, resolve payment issues, and collaborate with engineering and business teams in a fast-paced, globally distributed, asynchronous setup.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of customer support experience with billing, strong English communication, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support with billing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to explain technical billing concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with asynchronous, globally distributed teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely initial responses to customer billing questions and disputes.
• Investigate and troubleshoot billing issues for customers.
• Triage cases and guide customers to relevant documentation and resources.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering or business teams when needed.
• Identify opportunities to develop or improve internal tools and workflows.
• Share insights to contribute to product improvements and billing experiences.
• Reproduce technical issues and create test cases to support troubleshooting.
