Placements24 is seeking multilingual Customer Support Specialists for a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will handle inquiries via email, chat, and phone, troubleshoot issues, and maintain CRM records while delivering exceptional service to a global customer base.

Applicants should have proven remote-support experience, strong communication in English (and another SA language), and be able to work independently from a home office with reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer support, call center, or a similar client-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and at least one other language (Afrikaans / Zulu / Sesotho).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in using customer support software and tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and guide customers through solutions.
• Provide information about products and services, explaining features clearly.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or senior team members.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Contribute to support documentation and FAQs.
• Identify trends in inquiries and provide product feedback.
