Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book qualified discovery calls.

You will manage your own pipeline in Salesforce/SalesLoft using tools like Sales Navigator, Apollo and ZoomInfo, maintaining high-quality touchpoints and thoughtful outreach. Remote-first role with SA-wide coverage.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• B2B sales experience with quota attainment preferred.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
