Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. This role focuses on thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to sustain high-quality touches and hit volume goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
