Placements24 is seeking a highly diligent Remote Aviation Regulatory Affairs Specialist to navigate international aviation regulations from a fully remote environment. You will advise on regulatory strategy, prepare submissions, and liaise with authorities to support product development.

The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents, and a proactive approach to compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in aviation regulatory affairs or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, SACAA) and certification processes.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and technical documents and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience working autonomously and managing multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and advise on current and upcoming aviation regulations and standards globally.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, applications, and compliance reports to relevant aviation authorities.
• Liaise effectively with regulatory bodies, aviation agencies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate approvals and certifications.
• Develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies for new products, services, and operational changes.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert regulatory guidance and training to internal teams across different departments.
