Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Aviation Safety Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to national and international aviation safety standards. This role supports global client operations from a remote location, with leadership on audits, SMS development, and risk mitigation.

You will conduct audits, develop safety management systems, investigate incidents, and deliver compliance reports, while training client personnel on best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aviation Management, Safety, or related field.
• 5+ years in aviation safety or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and SMS principles.
• Experience conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Strong reporting and communication skills, with self-management for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to assess regulatory compliance (SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain SMS for clients.
• Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports and present findings to management and regulators.
• Provide training and guidance on aviation safety protocols.
