Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly knowledgeable Remote Aviation Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to global aviation laws and regulations. You will monitor regulatory changes, interpret complex rules, and collaborate with legal, operations, and safety teams to implement robust compliance programs from anywhere in the world.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in aviation law or related field, at least five years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation law, business administration, aviation management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation regulatory compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of international aviation regulations and standards.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely from South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations from authorities (SACAA, EASA, FAA, ICAO).
• Develop and implement policies to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify non-compliance.
• Prepare and submit documents and reports to regulators.
• Advise management on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Maintain regulatory certifications and approvals.
