Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Architectural Drafter to translate designs into precise drawings from a remote setup, supporting Mossel Bay projects and beyond. You will work with architects and technologists to produce construction drawings, sections, elevations, and BIM models.

The role requires a diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting, proven drafting experience, AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, and strong attention to detail with excellent remote communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting or related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter with strong drafting conventions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software like Revit.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed construction drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
• Prepare drawings for planning applications, building permits, and tender packages.
• Assist in development and maintenance of BIM models according to project standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to reflect design changes in drawings.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Archive and manage project drawing files efficiently.
