Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Draughtsperson for a Paarl practice. You will translate designs into precise drawings, producing plans, elevations, sections, and details to support engineers and architects in delivering compliant documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a National Diploma in Architectural Technology with 4+ years of experience and strong AutoCAD and Revit skills. The role offers a collaborative environment and exposure to diverse Western Cape projects.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Architectural Draughtsperson.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work produced.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Assist architects in preparing design development and construction documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to integrate their designs into architectural drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure efficient document management.
• Review shop drawings and construction submittals for compliance with design intent.
