Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Architectural Drafter for a fully remote role across South Africa. You will produce detailed construction drawings, manage BIM models, and coordinate with consultants to deliver constructible plans in line with design intents.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in architectural drafting, advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a solid grasp of SA building regulations. This remote position offers flexible work, remote collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in architectural drafting and technical documentation.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and SA building regulations.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural construction drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using Revit and AutoCAD.
Develop and manage BIM models with data integrity and cross-discipline coordination.
Prepare schedules for materials, finishes, and components per project specs.
Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants.
Review revisions based on feedback and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
