Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Architectural Drafter for a remote contract role supporting Randburg projects. You will translate architectural designs into precise drawings and documentation essential for construction.

Working with the design team, you will ensure drawings meet project specifications and industry standards, manage digital files, and contribute to a variety of local projects within Gauteng from a remote location.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Architectural Drafter or CAD Technician.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting conventions.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.
• Create and update construction documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to refine drawings based on project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and project specifications.
• Maintain organised digital drawing files and project archives.
