Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics Researcher to work remotely, exploring ethical implications of AI and shaping responsible frameworks. You will advise teams to ensure fairness, transparency and societal benefit across AI deployments.

You will publish findings, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead workshops to advance the field and influence policy, with a strong emphasis on global perspectives from anywhere.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Ethics, Philosophy, CS, Law or Social Science with AI ethics focus.
• Proven research experience in responsible AI, algorithmic fairness or governance.
• Clear ability to communicate complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on ethical challenges in artificial intelligence.
• Develop guidelines and best practices for ethical design and deployment of AI.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, legal experts and policymakers.
• Analyze societal impacts of AI technologies and propose mitigations.
• Publish findings in journals, white papers and internal reports.
• Facilitate workshops and training on AI ethics for stakeholders.
