Placements24 is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to lead a groundbreaking AI ethics initiative. This fully remote role allows you to collaborate with a global team to shape responsible AI governance and policy recommendations.

You will publish high-impact research, engage policymakers and industry leaders, organize events, and guide the program's strategic direction from anywhere in the world.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, Sociology, or Public Policy with specialization in AI or technology ethics.
• Distinguished publication record in top-tier journals and conferences.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their societal implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent and collaborative research projects on AI ethics, bias, fairness, and accountability.
• Develop and publish high-impact research papers, reports, and policy briefs.
• Engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society to disseminate findings and foster dialogue.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences on AI ethics and responsible innovation.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the AI ethics research program.
