Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive AI Ethics and Governance Analyst to establish and maintain robust ethical frameworks for AI development and deployment. This remote role collaborates with legal, data science, and engineering teams to identify risks and advocate for fairness, accountability, and transparency.

You will monitor regulations, develop internal policies, train staff, and help ensure our AI initiatives align with societal values.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Ethics, Public Policy, CS, or related field.
• Experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology policy, or compliance.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their societal implications.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI governance policies and ethical guidelines.
• Conduct impact assessments for AI systems regarding ethics and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor evolving AI ethics regulations and industry best practices.
• Advise teams on mitigating bias, ensuring fairness, and maintaining transparency in AI models.
• Create educational materials and conduct training sessions on AI ethics and governance.
