Placements24 is seeking a visionary AI Ethicist and Policy Advisor to join our remote-first team. You will establish ethical guidelines, assess risks, and advise on policies related to AI technologies to ensure fairness, transparency, accountability, and alignment with societal values.

You will work with research and engineering teams, engage external stakeholders, and help shape responsible AI practices across domains globally.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ethics, philosophy, law, CS with ethics specialization, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI ethics principles, FAT (fairness, accountability, transparency).
• Experience in policy analysis or advising within the technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ethical frameworks and guidelines for AI development and deployment.
• Conduct AI impact assessments to identify and mitigate ethical risks and biases.
• Advise leadership on AI policy, regulation, and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to embed ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Engage with external stakeholders to foster dialogue on AI ethics.
